About Dance2Swing Studios
Dance2Swing Studios specializes in teaching beginner friendly to advanced private and/or group lessons and workshops. Dance2Swing offers 14 different styles in swing classes that will have you jivin'!
Be sure to check out our swing dance calendar for all Dance2Swing Studios swing dances being held throughout Central, North Central and Western Massachusetts. Dance2Swing Studios swing dances feature a mix of the best Jump Blues, Rhythm & Blues and Lindy Hop Swing Dance Bands from all around New England. There is a Beginner Level Swing Dance Lesson at the start of all our events. Single and couples are in the rotation. We have over 10 years experience in teaching and break it down so that everyone will understand and have fun learning how to swing dance! The Dance Lesson is in Jitterbug. We use a rotation method in the lesson which allows you to take it with or without a partner. At the end of the lesson everyone there would have danced with each other several times. All are encouraged to ask others to dance, whether you're a follower or a leader. We say Beginner Friendly because experienced dancers dance with beginners, which helps beginners get wicked good real fast!
About Swing Dancing
Swing Dancing was born from the hearts of people in the 1920's. At a time in history where there was uncertainty in the world swing music was there. It was uplifting, powerfully positive and extremely dynamic. We have a tremendous amount of respect and appreciation for the candor and veracity of the generation that produced swing. Swing dancing is how dancers interpret swing music with their bodies. One of the big rewards of teaching swing dancing is to be able to see the expression of joy on peoples faces as they learn to swing dance.

Service is available and includes a Beginner Friendly 1 Hour Swing
Dance Lesson. The cost of our DJ service ranges varies between $400-700,
depending upon the size of the crowd and the length of time of the
event. DJ Alan Hep2theJive offers 20 different Swing Dance Themes specializing in Swing, Jump Blues, Smooth Swingin' Uptown Blues, Rhythm & Blues, Rock n' Roll, Post-Swing, Pre-Rock n' Roll and 50 Music.
We are available for Private, Public or Corporate functions.
