| Shakin' All Over is now going into their 11th year performing together. Based in Greenfield, MA, the group has entertained in over 130 Massachussetts communities at Dances/Concerts, Town special events, fairs & Festivals, and schools and Colleges. It has also performed in 18 other states from Maine to Mississippi. Each of the Band Members has been playing and performing on their respective instrument for over 25 years. BAND MEMBERS INCLUDE: JANICE DEE - LEAD VOCALIST RICHARD ERIKSEN - KEYBOARD, BASS, VOCALS, MUSICAL DIRECTOR SLIMBOY SLAM - LEAD GUITAR, BACKGROUND VOCALS, BAND DIRECTOR JOHNNY BLACKTOP - DRUMS, VOCALS ACE RILEY - SAXOPHONE, VOCALS While concentrating on offering an entertaining tribute to the legendary dance songs from 1954 - 1963, Shakin' All Over also includes 250 songs from their performing repertoire offering a diverse introspective look at American Roots music of this important era....The group's song list include selections from Country, Rockabilly, Rock 'n Roll, Blues, R & B, and American Standards. These songs bridge generations, and bring together fans of all ages to all of our dances & shows. It is the 50th anniversary of Rock 'n Roll....a classic era in American music history...It is music that reminds us of our innocence, of a time when anything seemed possible, whether it be walking on the Moon, or capturing the love of a chick named "Peggy Sue". It is music that brings people together, that bridges generations, that is as popular today as it was when Buddy Holly, Bill Haley, and Chuck Berry first plugged in and taught us how to Shake, Rattle, & Roll, put on our Blue Suede Shoes, and Dance the Night Away. Main St., For This Swingin', Rockin', Boppin', Lindy Hoppin New Years Eve Party with a fabulous Live Band and One Jive DJ!!! ... It's going to be an evening of fun, music, food, dance and celebration. Dress is casual Doors open at 6:30pm, dinner will promptly be from 7- 8:30pm. The band will begin playing about 8:30pm. The delicious buffet dinner will consist of: *Sirloin Tips over Rice Pilaf *Seafood Newburg *Chicken Marsala *Eggplant Parmesan *Fresh Garden Salad *Rolls and Butter *Assorted Desserts *Coffee and Tea *And of course a Champagne Toast at Midnight!!! GREAT MENU!!! The cost of the tickets for the buffet and dance are: $45 per person, purchase your tickets before December 8th and get a $5 discount ($40) (as always, we have done our best to keep the cost as low as possible).
